Hi everyone,

We are new to TOG and have a DS in 4th grade (almost age 10) and another DS in 2nd grade (won't turn 8 until end of June). Our older is very comfortable with the UG level, so no issues there.

Our younger has great reading skills and reads well independently, but as a younger boy for his grade, the UG works seems to be a bit much in terms of amount and overall cognitive process level. I started both in UG but think it will be best to use LG and supplement where needed.

If anyone has any advice or experience, I'd love to hear it. Thanks!

My 2nd grade son is doing LG for all the literature, but some of the history we do the UG and I read aloud to both LG and UG together!
