MY two boys have both just about melted down for the last two weeks because their reading has gotten so much harder. I tried to read outloud to them and they did not like that,any helps?

Hi Lori,
I'd suggest beginning with the learning level below theirs. So, if they are dialectic students, I'd suggest starting with upper grammar history and literature. Do this for a unit.

At the end of the unit, move them into dialectic literature. After a unit of that, if you think they are ready, begin adding in dialectic history readings.

Hope this gives you an idea...
