Is anyone doing a virtual co-op for year 1 this year?

I feel a little silly, but what actually is a virtual co-op? How, exactly, does it work???

I'd be interested, too, depending on what level you're looking at. My dd is in 6th, doing (mostly) Dialectic work.

Are you still considering doing a Yr 1 co-op? I have 3 children, (LG, UG, and D) and am planning on starting school after Labor Day. If this would fit in with the co-op I'd love to hear more about it!

We haven't even ordered our yr 1, but I'd love to do a co-op. We live in NC, so it probably would be a virtual co-op and that's great. I'll have a 5th, 3rd, 1st---all working in LG/UG I think. Oh, this is fun but nerve wracking a bit too.

I will have 2 rhetoric students doing year 1 this year, but I will not start until after Labor day (Sept 4th). I live in Ohio, so definitely a virtual co-op would be great. Thanks

I noticed this thread because some of us (including the original poster of this thread) are trying to get a Y2 Virtual Co-op going for the 2007/2008 school year.

What I wanted to draw to your attention is that you are all responding to a post that was begun a year ago. So if you are really interested in a Y1 Virtual Co-op, one of you that has posted RECENTLY will probably need to take the reins and steer the cart.

I'm excited about the possiblity of being involved in a co-op this year, and just wouldn't want any of you to be disappointed that no one was responding to your cries of "I'm interested!"

I would be interested. I'm not having much luck finding others around the Lake Norman area that are doing Year 1 Redesign.
