Hi...

I was wondering if anyone has looked into what the price will be to take the disc to a print shop and have them print it in color?

Thanks!

I found one post on this:

I could have sworn there was also a post indicating that home printing of it would be in the same price range per unit.

Printing in black and white would save a boat load of money if you are on a budget.

Ugh...I was afraid of that!

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

It was in the November newsletter:
We have been contacted by one of our own Tapestry users, whose family owns a printing business. We have discussed the possibility of a service whereby they can print to order any unit of Tapestry of Grace for $.05 an impression, or approximately $25.00 for a 500-page unit, plus shipping. (Tapestry units vary in length.) We will keep you informed as details develop with this option. * Just to give you another benchmark, we have also estimated that one unit (printing double-sided) on our home color laser printer here at Lampstand Press would cost $23.50 (including toner and paper) or using inkjet, $30.00.

My post was in response to someone asking about using a self-publishing company like Lulu.

Right, Karen, and this deal has been confirmed, as our newsletter on Monday will announce. Lampstand Press will collect orders weekly, and you can have an entire unit printed for around $25 give or take--$.05/side of a page--plus shipping and handling charges.

Although I usually receive E-Newsletters from Lampstand Press I did not receive the one mentioned above. Is it posted online somewhere or could you please e-mail it to me?

Thank you,
Jill

I just wanted to clarify. If we order a unit to print for $25, do we have to first buy the Digital version and then order to print it? Or can we just order the units to print for $25 each which if I am adding correctly would be cheaper in the long run.

THanks.

Yes, the $25 (or so) offer is only for those who have purchased the unit in the Digital Edition.

If someone orders the DE, pays to have it all printed, can they then resell the printed part down the road if they so choose?
