I get a message when trying to open the Unit 2 I just downloaded. The message says:

Error1284:68
Can't connect to server www.locklizard-license2.co.uk Error 2

I'm still able to open Unit 1 from the Interface but not the newest Unit. Please help.

There are a few things that can cause this error message. Try restarting your computer and redownloading the license file from the store. It's also possible you have made changes to (or added) a firewall program and have blocked access to the LockLizard server.

If you continue to have difficulty, call Customer Service at 800-705-7487.

When I try to refresh my license I get the same error message. [heavy sigh] I guess I'll have to call when I have a chance.

Hi Ray,
After spending some time on the phone this afternoon with David and then with Sarah, we still were not able to resolve the problem. Sarah offered to do the fastsupport.com route but my PC would not perform the download to give her access. She suggested that over the weekend, I try to figure out why my computer won't allow the download and then call her back on Monday. Problem is I've tried all I know to try to figure out why the download isn't happening. I've always been able to open Unit 1 but now am unable to access Unit 2. I've changed nothing in my security settings and therefore am at a loss. Meanwhile, our history studies for the year are on hold. (Fortunately, we're near a holiday break, right?!) Do you have suggestions for anything further that I can try?

Hi, Martha!

Check to see that the time and date settings are correct on your computer. Make sure the time, date and time zone are correct. That's one of the oddball things that can cause LockLizard and GoToAssist to not make a connection.

If those are correct and you're still having difficulty, restart your computer, turn off any firewall programs, and try again.

If you still have difficulty, contact the manufacturer of your firewall program and let them know that you cannot access a program that needs to make an internet connection. They should be able to walk you through any changes that need to be made.
