I am really excited about TOG DE and am looking at getting it to use with my son in the fall. From what I've read, it is downloaded onto my comptuer's hard drive, right? How much space will it take up? Thanks!

Yes, Tapestry DE is downloaded onto your hard drive. As far as how much space it takes, it depends on how many items you download. Here are some rough estimates:

Each year's interface is less than 10 MB.
Each year's curriculum is between 100-200 MB.
Each year's Evaluations is around 50 MB.
Each year's Government, Lapbooks files are around 10 MB each
Each year's MapAids is between 25 and 50 MB.
Each year's set of PopQuiz cards is 1-2 MB.
Writing Aids is about 21 MB.
