My son is almost 16 (a junior this year) and has been doing dialectic in the past (3 years Y2, 3, 4) He is probably never going to be a true Rhetoric student but I have been over the past year putting some of the rhetoric assignments in. He has never done philosophy therefore. I want him to get the whole picture (all 4 year's worth) but he will only do Y1 and Y2 before he graduates. Also, I'm not sure how much he will understand of the rhetoric level assignments anyway. Does anyone have a suggestion for a book/curriculum or whatever that will cover philosophy from beginning to end in just 2 years. Preferably something short and sweet but heavy on christian worldview? Or should I just go with the TOG R plan and let him get what he gets?

Take a look at The Universe Next Door which I think is being used in Year Four. It one go through all the historical evolutions in philsophy, but it will lay out the general ground work.
