Anyone use Family Christian Academy? I spoke with someone there today and tried to explain TOG. He referred me to their graduation requirements which include a credit in World History and a credit in American History. How can you make TOG fit this? I really wanted to use TOG all four years as written. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,
Susan

Hi Susan,

I believe you could do something like the following:

Year 1: 1 credit Ancient History

Year 2: 1/2 credit Medieval/RR History
and 1/2 credit American History

Year 3: 1/2 credit World History
and 1/2 credit American History

Year 4: 1/2 credit World History
and 1/2 credit American History

Just go through TOG like you normally would.

I know FCA has you submit grades (credits) every semester, so you could even give 1/4 WH and 1/4 AH credit for each semester of the last two years. (At least they let us do that when we lived in TN. 5 1/2 year ago.)

HTH,
Yvonne
