This will be our 8th year in Tapestry, first using classic, now going through redesigned as it is released each year. I am currently working on preparing a very traditional looking transcript for my upcoming senior. The colleges of his choice want to see courses listed with typical but descriptive names like:
World History American History World Lit British Lit American Lit I am wondering if anyone has taken the time to go through the books, particularly in literature, and “reassign” them in these various categories, listing the titles that fall under World, British, and American Literature courses. I know it can be done, but it will take me some time to figure it all out! Any help is appreciated!! Thanks! Ellen |

Hi Ellen. :-) The breakdown for a very traditional Lit transcript goes something like this... at least in Redesign. :-)
Year 1: Ancient Literature or World Literature I Year 2: You can in perfect justice describe this as either English Literature or World Literature II Year 3: You can describe this as World Literature III. Alternatively, you can describe it as 1/4 of an American Literature credit Year 4: This can be described as World Literature IV or as 3/4 of an Anerican Literature credit, which, together with Year 3, makes up a full American Literature credit. Hope this helps a bit! Christy Somerville |
