I have this knowledge quest map cd - i know they make the mapaids cds - i'm wondering if just this cd would be good enough to use with the classic year one curriculum? Or would it be much better to just go ahead and get the map aids cd? This year was our first with TOG and i did get the mapaids cd for year 4 - not sure if i needed to, but i wanted the year to go smoothly...

We've been through Yrs 1-3 redesigned, & I also have the Knowledgequest maps, but have gone back to purchase Mapaids to save time, frustration, etc.
I found that sometimes I was spending 45 mins locating areas, and sometimes the maps from the regular Knowledgequest CD were not quite what was needed.
Bottom line: if you just want to save money & time isn't a major issue, go with the Knowledgequest maps; otherwise spring for Mapaids.
