I have Map Aids and when I looked at the teacher's key, it placed the Qin Ling Mountains on the SE coast of China. But the Teacher's Notes say that "The Qin Ling Mountains are the chief physical feature of [The Central Uplands] region." So does this mean that these mountains are in between the Huang He River and the Yangtze River? I can't find them in any of my other resources.
Also, (as I discovered in another post) the Map Aids map cuts off the western part of China. I couldn't find another suitable blank map for the kids to label. Any suggestions? Thanks, Michelle |

Hi Michelle,
The Qin Ling mountains are not on the SE coast of China, but they do separate the southeast from the northeast. I'll try to link a map later, but I've got to run out the door. HTH! Diane 11yodd loves all things science 11yods loves building anything & animals |

Thanks, Diana. I also found this link.
http://www.nationalgeographic.com/wildworld/profiles/te...trial/pa/pa0434.html It says that this mountain range is the boundary between the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers. (For someone who may find this link later and need the info! Michelle |
