I love history, but it's not because I'm focused on the past. What I care about is the future! My GOAL is not to study history but to change it. But the more I learn, however, the more I see that those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it. The past tells us things we need to know if we are going to live like Christians in a new age.

I'm writing this post less than 24 hours after hearing that John McCain has named a pro-life Creationist to be his Vice President. I am FIRED UP! Talk about making history happen! I've already ordered five "McCain/Palin" yard signs and I'm sending emails to my friends and family to invite them to come over and get one.

Dads--you have eight wonderful weeks to get your kids involved in the most spectacular Presidential contest in modern political history. The stakes haven't been this high, nor has the process been this fun in living memory. If your child is old enough to read a yard sign, it's time to start teaching citizenship.
