i am feeling a little lost with bringing W4 info all together. Much of the teacher notes seem to be for the upper levels. Specifically, in the student threads it says to" notice the fact that the patriarchs' lives overlapped and consider what that might have meant" Where am I getting this info?

Any help would be appreciated,
Lissa

What we have done in the past and will do again this year is to take a bible(Gen. 5) and graph paper. Then, decide on a scale. Say, 1 block=100 years. Then, color in the number of blocks that Adam was alive-9 1/3 blocks. Seth was born when Adam was 130 years old, so his line would start over 1 1/3 blocks, then using a different color, color the number of blocks that would represent his age(a little over 9 blocks), and so on. Make sure each generation's line starts at approx the age his father was when he was born, kwim?

When you are finished, you will be able to see how many generations of descendants Adam(and others) could have known personally.

Hope that's clear enough,
Tammi
