I am doing G and D have both books, the old Ancient World and the new net-linked one. I got the new page numbers off the sample page (thanks Marcia!), but since I have both, I can use either. Does anyone have any opinions about which is better? I don't want to have to read each week's assignment in each book to decide for that week. Are there significant differences? Is it mostly a reworking of the same basic text? Is it eeny-meeny-miny-mo? Obviously I could spend a day and study the differences and see, but as the school year is nearly upon us, I was hoping someone out there might be able to give me some pointers!

They are both good! The old Ancient World, in my opinion, is a bit more advanced reading than the new Internet-linked one. The material in each book is much the same though.

You might have one of your students read out of one book, and the other student read out of the other book. They can then see if one read something the other one did not. Marcia calls that "cross-pollination."
