WORLD QUEST
Re-living the 1800’s around the World and in America
A History/Literature Co-op for Sr. High Youth

The purpose for World Quest is to provide a rigorous history and literature based knowledge of the world in the 1800’s. I have found that my children retain significantly more information if we combine history, literature, discussion and activity! (An added bonus if we add friends to the mix!) Assignments and activities that encourage lively conversation will be a major part of the World Quest experience.

Fees: There will be no direct fee for the class; however, there will be a set curriculum and accompanying books that will need to be obtained.

Who may join: Any student who is entering grade 9 or above and has a reading level of at least the 9th grade (reading on their own). Some of the literature that we are going to cover will be quite challenging. Not everything is available on audio, therefore, each student will need to be able to read & discuss the literature and history subjects.

When we will meet: Every other Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00 pm
