If this question has already been answered in another post, I apologize, but haven't located it.

I am curious about when booklist for Y4 will be released & would appreciate any input.

Thanks!

Tracey

Hi Tracey,
It looks like it will be around the beginning of May or so.

Hi,
You may have seen the post above, but if not...

We're working on getting all of the Y4 U1 books in our warehouse and they will be available as soon as 95-99% are here. We'll announce it here, in the Bookshelf Central newsletter, and on the BSC website.

Blessings,

Dana C. in TN

Any update about when the complete U1 booklist for Year 4 Redesign will be released (& other units, too)? It was my understanding that it (U1 list) was to be posted the week of May 18.

Thanks.

Hi,
You can now use the drop down boxes to search for the Year 4 titles on Bookshelf Central. More details to come over the weekend, but feel free to start shopping (don't forget to sign into your account so that everything will stay in your cart).

Blessings,

Dana C. in TN

Just wondering where we can find the U1 book list in Excel format. I thought that Lampstand was going to put that up for us as well.

BTW, thanks Dana for getting your list up! So excited to peruse.

Thanks,

I have a couple of items on this. One is question, the other is an observation.

1. First, the observation. When selecting Y4, U1, both Upper Grammar and Dialectic show up twice in the third dropdown list.

2. Next, the question. Are you sure the values in the "weeks" field are correct? They only go up through Week 4 (for LG and UG at least), and 15 of the LG books are listed as W1. That doesn't sound right.

Thanks!
Eric.

There are also some apparent discrepancies which lead me to believe there are mistakes on the week numbering. For example, Anne of Green Gables is listed as W3 on the Dialectic level, and W1 on the LG level. Similarly, the Eric Liddell books are listed as W3 for UG, but W1 for LG.

Looking forward to seeing this in a more printable or copyable-to-Excel format!

Thanks for all the hard work!
Eric.

Eric,

I think I can answer both of your questions above.

First, Dana is aware of the glitch with UG and D levels showing up twice in the dropdown. Just be sure to choose the second ones and you'll see the correct list of books for that level. Also, you will need to do a second search for the multi-level books by level.

Second, the "weeks" tells how many weeks the book is used, not the week it is scheduled to be read. You will need to wait until you download the DE to see the details on the reading assignment chart (yellow pages).

Although the excel lists are great for convenience, I love the new format at Bookshelf Central for shopping for books. It's so nice to see the picture of the book, the description and level used all at one time.

Don't forget to login before you shop for books!

Hope this answers your questions.

Ah, thanks so much Eia. The "Weeks" definition was definitely what I was missing. I'll wait until June 4th to figure out when they would actually fit into the plan. :-)

I've noticed a discrepancy on a dialectic history resource:

On the TOG Excel spreadsheet, it lists The Complete Idiot's Guide to the 20th Century by Eva March Tappan as a resource.
On the Bookshelf site, The Complete Idiot's Guide to 20th Century History by Alex Axelrod is cited.

Which is correct?

Thanks!

Maybe this has been answered somewhere else, but could someone let me know where the excel spreadsheets are with the book lists for Y4.

Thanks,
