I'm wondering where I should post a question about if there is going to be a virtual co-op for Y2 next year and how to join?

Thanks,
Hilary

I'm interested as well, though we're starting with Unit 3 next year, so I don't know how that would work if you're starting with Unit 1.

Hi-- i would love to join a co-op but really have no idea of how to do it? It looked like there was one going last year for yr 2--in any case, i have a 11 yr old, 9yr 6 yr old twins. of course the twins won't do too much but would love my older kids to communicate with others.

Hello,

I think I posted my message in the wrong place.

I'm from northwestern PA. This is the third year I've used tapestry, and I will be teaching a 15 year old daughter, 13 year old son, and 10 year old son.

I am interested in how the virtual co-op would work.
Thanks,
Brenda

Hello,

This is our first year with TOG and second homeschooling. We are very excited about starting TOG in the fall with our kids (1 D and 1UG we think!). I would be very interested in finding out more about a co-op for year 2.

Thanks,
Jubilee

Hi,
I have a 15 year old and we live in Western PA. We might be interested in a virtual co-op.

I am interested in joining or helping start a co-op, virtual or not, for the fall of 2008. I have children in rethoric and dialetic levels. We will be doing Y2.

I have been working on this. I posted to the loosethreads list last night and I have quite a few responses. If you are still interested, I would love to talk to you and see if the forming group will meet your needs.

This will be our first year with TOG, beginning with Year 2 Unit 1 in the Fall of 08. We are thrilled about the possibility of a virtual co-op!

I have all boys: a 12 yr old (D), a 7 yr old (UG), and a 3 yr old. My homeschooling friend (and neighbor) and I intend to work together for hands on projects with our UG and LG students, but I really don't have anything for my D level student (she does not have children at that level). My D student just started an online writing class that uses forums for discussion and absolutely loves it! I would like to offer him a similar online way to communicate with other TOG D level students about the readings, discussion questions, etc.

I pray this comes together and am willing to help in anyway!

Blessings,
Rochelle

Hello Ladies,

This will be my forth year participating in a virtual co-op. I just started a Yahoo Group specifically for virtual co-ops: how to, share ideas, find others...

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TOGVirtualCo-opSynergy/

We are new but hopefully this will be a place of great help.

Blessings,
