I recently bought a classic volume of Y2 and bought the books that I needed for D and LG as my budget would allow. I have recently had a blessing and my finances have changed a little. I have been trying to decide "to buy or not to buy". Will I have to buy new books or will the ones I have work with Redesigned? That is what it boils down to wether or not I will have to get more books.

For the most part, you should be able to use what you had for Classic. For lower grammar level, there are, in Redesigned, more level appropriate books, but it will be absolutely no problem to use what you have. Dialectic level *could* be more of an issue, but maybe not. In Redesigned, we've tried to be very careful to make sure that all questions are answered in the "primary" resources. Some of the resources you have may be "alternates," but you can help fill in any missing information during your dialectic history discussion.
