I don't know where this thread has been all my life, but I am truly grateful. Found myself scribbling away as if it would disappear before I wrote down all the great recommendations. I was trying to teach my kids w/ Rosetta Stone but felt the grammar piece was so huge I didn't know what to do. Thank you all so much!!! I am headed to the local used book store to check some other texts out. You all are an answer to prayer!!!

Just wanted to put the information out there that if you wanted to use Espanol Esencial, the Amsco workbook, you can get the workbooks and answer keys for books 1 and 2 from Hewitt Homeschooling.
