This question isn't about me, but rather a close friend who up and decided to go with TOG 2 weeks ago. She's using my Y2 Redesigned, and does not have internet or even a computer in their home. I have been very clear about how much I am dependent on both of these things, but really can't see a way for the situation to be remedied. No resources to meet the need, not for now anyway. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who has managed this curriculum w/o techno. devices in the home? I gave her the advice that she would need to schedule a time at the library or internet cafe where she can reserve library holds, make photocopies, read info. on TOG website, etc., and hold to that schedule rigidly. I think I would have gone insane the last 2 years w/o connecting to the cyberworld...
