ok, so I went to my local 'home improvement center' and asked if they could help me find some unfinished quarry stone - (I could hear the crickets chirping as I watched the blank look on their faces...) and I didn't buy anything because I wanted to double check here.
Does this mean any stone (real, not composite) that has no glaze on it is ok?? They had quite a few different 'natural stones' and I really was not sure what to buy. (you should have seen the look on the poor guy's face when I told him I wanted to bake bread on it!!! LOL) Any guidance that is a bit more specific would be greatly appreciated by this 'home improvement store flunkie'... (well, I did just paint the bathroom while my teenage girls were in N.C. for a week ) )
