We're returning to TOG (my young 15-year-old son), and I'm trying to decide whether to keep him in D for most assignments--he's a good writer (but lazy--too many run-on sentences), and enjoys history, but his life goal is hockey (he's currently playing AAA midget in Michigan), so he's very busy with sports and training.

Any suggestions from experienced users gratefully received,

Linda in NM (soon to be MI)

What are his/your goals for post-high school? That would make a big difference to me in determining my son's education.

He would like to play in Canada at 17; we would like him to go to a D1 college...he's intelligent enough to do so, and has no trouble with school concepts--although I think I'll take Barb's advise and ease him into R work...

THanks,

Linda
