Grading for Government, Church History, and Fine Arts?

How do you all grade for the Government, Church History and Fine Arts electives? I'm thinking about percentages for daily work or tests or something like that. My dd will be a 9th grader doing Y3 next year.

Dear Hilary,

I give a "quality and quantity of preparation" grade (they show me their notes, questions and answers) and a "quality and quantity of participation" grade (for discussion). I weight them equally.
