I can't find the info I know I've read somewhere on this.

We're doing Year 2 redesigned this year, and I've got an upcoming 11th grader. Our state has a requirement of at least 1/2 credit of American Government, and I'm trying to figure out how to get that.

Year 2 can give (according to info I found on the Loom) a 1/2 credit called Government Studies, but I don't see what Year 3 provides. Would I do better to hold off on studying government until next year (as he's a little swamped this year anyway), and get his 1/2 government credit his senior year? Wouldn't Year 3's studies be closer to the requirement of AMERICAN government? Can anyone tell me the suggested title for the credit?

Thanks in advance for the help!
Karen

Hi Karen,
Yes, he can get his 1/2 government credit with any of the Redesigned Year-Plans. Yes, Years 3 and 4 will have more American government, although there is definitely "world stuff" in there too. I don't think you'll have any trouble labeling the credit as "American."

Oh, praise the greatness of our God!"
