Is there a place in ToG for the study of our state's history? I am not sure if this is something I will need to do in addition to ToG or if it is a part of the curriculum that we have just not come to yet. (We are currently in Year 2.)
If it is not included in ToG, how have others done this? Do we do a unit study on the history of our state when we reach the time in history that our state became part of the Union or do it at a certain grade level (age)? I was curious about this too and glad to see that it is covered in Writing Assignments. Weeks 14-18 of level 4 or 5 is State Notebooks. We are doing Year 1 so I don't know if it's in Year 2 but I assume it is.

Great, thank you! I did find it in Year 2. I am doing level 3 writing right now so I hope it is covered in Year 3 or 4 since that is when we will be doing level 4 and level 5 writing.
