Hello everyone,

I am interested in using the homeschoolinthewoods timeline figures and book, and I was wondering if those of you who have used these imparticular are happy with them? We will be starting with YR 1 this year, and my 7th grader will be the one using the figures, do you find the timeline useful and worth the time and effort put into them? Thanks for the help, Misty.

We used Timeline in the Woods for the first time this year with my dd dialectic student. We LOVE it!!

We purchased the hardbound book, CD, and placement guide. It is so nice to pull it out weekly and place the different events and people that we have been learning about in the book and see how they interconnect with things going on on other continents and with each other. You could print them wall-sized if you wanted to do that, or size them in smaller versions for their book or a book of your own. You can choose characters individually or print pages with multiple characters and events specific to dates. You can print just pictures, or pictures with text.

HTH,

We've been using the timeline software offered by TOG and like it a lot. You can print it out at the end of the year. I use Google's image search to find contemporary images for each entry.
