I have a budget of $100 for extra books. We have Yr 1 LG & UG.

Can anyone recommend any of their favorite books for Yr 1 LG and UG? My phone mom recommended I use the library and the rest of the budget get for crafts. That sounds like a great idea. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Here are some I'd encourage you to get:
*Walk with Y'shua Through the Jewish Year: unless you already own a Jewish holidays book

*Usborne Internet-Linked Encyclopedia of the Ancient World: because it's used SO much

If you'd like a hands-on activity book, I'd encourage you to get either Old Testament Days or Classical Kids.


To save you loads of time in looking for maps, I'd encourage you to get MapAids.

If you need helps in teaching to the writing assignments, I *highly* recommend the purchase of Writing Aids.

I'd say that's close to $100.
