I think that multiple choice question 9 is not well worded. Week 2 Teacher's Notes p. 30 state that "The Peninsular War began in 1808 when Spanish and Portuguese forces rebelled against French rule. Soon after the war began, British troops joined the fight against France . . ." Therefore, all of the four choices to the question are incorrect. I don't like to point out a problem without proposing a solution, but I'm not sure of the best fix. Maybe something like "Which of the following countries was not one of the primary countries battling in the Peninsular War?" (You can see why I'm not the one making the evaluations!)

Thank you so much for catching this, Janet! You are absolutely right. To correct the problem, we've decided to keep the question the same, but to change the possible answers to a) France b) Russia c) Spain d) Portugal. Russia is of course the country that was not involved in the Peninsular War
