I realize that there may yet be some changes to the Frameworks document between now and the supported date for Week 3, so I'm a little hesitant to post this question....however....

It looks as if the section assigned from Frameworks for Week 3 is already up, but named something different - ? In the "Rhetoric Literature Reading Assignments" chart, the Week 3 document assigned is III.C.10.c and it is listed as "Epistolary Novels". But in the current Frameworks document, III.C.10.c is titled "Newspapers and Magazines".

Two of the three of us needing to read Frameworks are "paper" people and I was just trying to go ahead and print what I could for the first few weeks. I know, I know, I may end up having to re-print something if it changes, but I'm willing to take that risk to a certain extent to keep from having to read off the computer or copy pages at the last minute in Week 3. What is more likely to happen if I don't have it done ahead of time is that I won't get it done! Sad to have to admit that, but alas, I know myself well.

Thanks for all that you wonderful people do!! I'm very excited about beginning Year 3 on Aug. 25 (wow! I really need to get moving!)!

Aw, thank you for the encouragement, Marcie. :-) It's certainly appreciated! I think that you may have found a mistake on our chart, which we should correct ASAP. Let me see if I can get the right section posted for you by Monday, all right? Also, just a suggestion: if you are going to print Frameworks, print the Neoclassical section only. I doubt that you will be needing to refer to Medieval or Renaissance literature sections much in the course of Y3, even if you have Continuing students. :-)

Look for that article to change, and if it doesn't in a day or two, feel free to call or email us, okay?

Thanks for your patience and for pointing out these last-minute mistakes!

Well, the plot thickens...

In the Reading Assignment Pages in the TM, the Frameworks assignment is not listed at all. However, in the Rhetoric Discussion Outline on p. 47 it does say that "Continuing-level teachers may in addition choose to read this week's assignments from Frameworks."

I think there must be a mistake somewhere, but I'm not sure which place.

It's entirely possible that I'm missing something since I've been staring at these pages for the first few units for hours, trying to get it all together (and trying not to panic).

Thanks for any help on this.

Thanks for the reply, Christy! Our posts must have crossed in cyberspace.

I'll look for something on this next week, then.

I love the attitudes at TOG - YOU thank US for pointing out mistakes! How can we not love a company like that?!?
