Hi Susan,
I answered in part on another post, but thought you might like a bit more detail. (Don't miss that the Student Activity Pages are posted on the Loom.)

We *are* running a bit late according to our projected production schedule, but not according to our supported start date. Year 3 Unit 2 will be in your hands as soon as possible. We're just waiting for it to get back from the printers so that we can ship it to your front porch!

As you know, we've produced many units over the years, and this has by far been the one in which we have experienced the most opposition in completing it. However, we thank God that He has enabled us to get it done such that no one following our supported start date will need to delay.

We do ask that you pray for us as we finish up Year 3 Unit 3. Our internal schedule is tighter than it has ever been, and we are staying up late nights in order to accomplish this. We ask that you pray that God will bless us with good health, computers that work quickly and efficiently, and minds that will ultimately seek to glorify God.

Thanks so much!!

Dana and company-

I just want to thank you so much for the HARD work you put in helping us homeschool our children. We can't begin to understand what all is involved in the day-to-day for you, but we can thank God for your service. As to Unit 2 arrival, I figure if it's not in hand when we're done w/ Unit 1, it's a good excuse to go back and do things we may have skipped or maybe even take a week of field trips! Wink

I think we're all getting a little anxious. hehehe!!!! I have been on the computer all morning because don't know what to do with myself. we're finished with unit 1. My older children do their school work independently and my younger ones just play in the morning (outside of simple preK and K work that takes us 30 minutes.) it just occurred me to just how bored I am. I didn't realize the stimulation I needed even from TOG.

You all are working so hard and doing such a great job with this curriculum. If it can keep the attention of mom's then you know you're doing a great job. Smiler

we're waiting patiently (sort of) in TX.

We too are anxiously awaiting Unit 2. We are finishing Unit 1 this week. We are expecting #5 in February so I wanted to get a jump start on school in August and are just praying that each future Unit gets finished on time or early. For those just waiting, I noticed today that the Student Activity pages are up on the Loom. I will take this waiting time to make copies and get all of the "paperwork" in order while I wait for the shipment.

Hello,
I think mommy 123456, should tell us a little more about her homeschool, bored with 6 kids!!! You must have the organization that I only dream about. We would probably need to be under another thread, but I would sure love to read about how your day routinely goes, maybe some of the best tips to others about how you got where you are today!! I know we all have seasons in our lives, but if you feel led to share some tidbits, about how you are enjoying the fruits of your labors, let us know where you will post and I will happily follow the thread!! God bless your day, you are an encouragement to me!

I guess I should explain "bored." I am now 36 weeks pregnant. I do alot of sitting in the afternoon so I was expecting to be able to spend my afternoons reading for TOG but instead we don't have much of a focus right now. I am not as organized as you may think. I just don't have the energy or physical capacity to do much. Believe me, these kids keep me going most of my day. . .that is why I sit during the afternoon.
