I know you are all feverishly working around there to keep us all going, but curious minds want to know. LOL! Could you please give us an update on when the Unit 3 and Unit 4 print copies will be mailed to us? I am beginning to hit the panic button as I approach unit 4 and have not seen any updates on when it will be available to us.

Thanks for all you are doing to make this transition time as smooth as possible.
Daphne

There was an email that went out on January 15th saying that printed units of U3 and U4 would be shipped together in later Feb. or early March. It seems that not everyone got that email because a friend of mine who is currently using Yr. 3 did not receive it either. Hope that helps!

We are in week 26, as to scheduled dates, and was wondering if you are still on schedule, for the shipments of 3 and 4? Can we have an update please on status.
Thank You!

Unit 4 SAPs will be posted by week's end. The unit is at the printer, and we just heard yesterday that we can anticipate a mid-March delivery of either Units 3-4 or of entire year-plans, depending on your order. For those who are closely following our originally posted schedules, we will be making an update to your Unit 3 such that you can see the first three weeks of Unit 4.

That way, you can plan those weeks fully and hit the ground running when the units are shipped to you.

THANKS for your patience in all this. The troubles of the winter only put us one week behind our originally posted schedule, which, given everything we've had to walk through is a true miracle, and we are SO glad to see the spring coming. We feel that we are on solid footing again as we start into the process of editing Year 4 for a late-spring/early summer release, and are so GRATEFUL that we will be able to fill the orders of ALL Year 3 customers who ordered paper copies!

Blessings,
Marcia

Marcia,

Thank you your reply. It's very helpful to hear an update on how things are progressing and get updated timetables to help us plan accordingly. Thank you for accommodating those of us who are ready to start U4 soon, by providing an electronic version of the first three weeks of U4 to get us started. We will keep watch for news on that DE update.

It is amazing to see how God has provided and enabled you to persevere through this trial. We are excited to see all that He has for you in the months ahead. We are glad to see Spring coming too!

With appreciation,
Eia

Marcia,
Thanks for the update. It has definately put me at more ease knowing what to expect. As a new TOGer, I have had so much fun teaching this year. It makes things run smoother around here if I know what to expect rather than feeling like I'm running into a dark tunnel. LOL! I, too, appreciate all of the hard work and the time you have put into this redesigned curriculum. Please be encouraged in the fact that you have brought new life to our homeschooling experience. We were beginning to doubt if we were going to make it all the way trough until we found TOG. My 17 yr old son that is very history and political science minded has enjoyed the year of in depth history. Thank you so much for all you are doing to keep us going.

Marcia and Lampstand -
Thank you for your faithful diligence in pressing forward to deliver this year's TOG redesign through unanticipated trial and hardship. We are grateful recipients of your looking to the Lord and trusting in His provision throughout this process!

For those of us who pre-ordered Y3 Redesign and are awaiting print editions, would there be any possibility of making the entirety of U4 available to us in the DE until our print copies arrive? This would be a tremendous service in planning, especially for those of us in co-ops!

Thank you for considering.
With gratitude,
Tracie

I am SO grateful for the expressions of support above, and so sorry for delays and disruptions to your year. I'm grateful that, in the future, we'll control all the steps in the process, and that the end of the redesign process is in sight! How I am rejoicing that next year there will be NO printer delays!

Our printer informed us on Friday of *another* 24-hour delay. Roll Eyes So, now we expect to have TOG in house on Wednesday afternoon. We are going to mail out in this general order:

We will start the shipping process with those who ordered to use Y3 THIS YEAR (in other words, those of you who received a free Unit 3 DE, not those who pre-ordered in the second print run). We hope to prioritize those living furthest away, but there are a few exceptions to this, and we know who you are. Shipping for this batch of 950 orders should be completed by Thursday.

Those who ordered in the pre-order print run (most of you for next year) will be shipped in order of shipping choices you selected when you ordered (i.e. UPS ground vs. media mail). These 450 orders do not constitute a "mass shipment" and must be picked and handled as individual orders, so they will be going out Friday, Monday, and Tuesday (of next week).

Good news! Those who ordered PopQuiz for Unit 4 and Lapbook CDs will receive them with your shipment. Also, we are sending finalized, completed Loom discs out with all Year 3 shipments!

Sorry, Tracie, I missed your suggestion above until today. Because you should have Unit 4 in hand by late this week or early next week, we are not now planning to post Unit 4 in DE. If you have significant problems with this schedule, please call today and ask for Juli. She will let you know whether we can do anything any better/different for you.

Blessings,
Marcia

Thank you so much for updating us! I really appreciate the details. I have learned a lot about shipping and printing from sharing this adventure with you all. And I understand better why DE is so much better for you - and therefore, for us! Thanks for all your hard work to give us such a useful, quality product to help us train our children in the Lord!

Ditto MOM29

We are excited to get our hard copy and get going, we've been a bit behind. The little bit of waiting we've done has let us do some other things (i.e. science). It's been good to have the kids get "hungry" for history too.
God's best to you as the future continues to be woven by Him.
