Hello All,

Please remember a Westminster, MD, homeschooling family of six children in your prayers. Dr. Kevin Lawyer, the father, was killed in an automobile accident Thursday night. The six children (including two sets of twins, and all under age 11) were with him, and some of them were hospitalized, as well. Please pray for Suzie Lawyer, the mom, and pray that I will discern God's leading to minister to her. (I was widowed suddenly eight years ago, with young sons to continue homeschooling, and I feel God may now want to use my situation for the good of others. However, my connection with the family was professional - Dr. Lawyer was my sons' orthodontist - and having never met Mrs. Lawyer, I'm uncertain how to proceed.)

Hello All,

Thank you for your prayers. One has already been answered. God has opened the way (via the "friend-of-a-friend homeschool moms network")for me to talk with someone who is close to Suzie Lawyer, and I was able to suggest(from my experience)some practical things that her close friends could do to help and support her in the coming months. It appears she has a good support network in place.

Suzie has also been given my name and number, with a welcome to call me at anytime. I will trust God to direct my words when the time comes.
