I've printed off the base map for Europe. The various maps for week 2 do not match up to the base map which seems to be a different size than all the other maps. I'm doing a tracing paper project with my grammar age students and it seems like we need a different base map for Europe than is provided.
Or am I doing something wrong?

I have not encountered this problem with the other U.S. and other base maps--all the others seem to match up. Thanks so much for any help and insight.

I just printed them (on paper) and they match up for me. I've heard from others that sometimes the transparency itself is a different thickness from the paper and thus the size seems to change. Possibly this is what happened...

Thanks Dana. I'm curious which maps are supposed to go with the transparency Europe base map.

I'm using Italy as my baseline to line up the maps just because it is easily identifiable at the bottom of the map. Italy is smaller on my base map than on the UG map for week 2. When I print out the Rhetoric map, Italy is even bigger and a different view of Europe.

The overlay of Europe (Napoleonic Wars) is identical to the base map. Is this the only map that is "supposed" to match up. In other words, are only the maps in the transparency project column going to match up with each other?
