Did anyone else have difficulty w/the maps this week? Ours were so off that I really felt like I must be missing something? The teacher maps on all levels did not have answers to many of the places that the children were asked to find. To be fair, some of the labels were obvious and I knew them. I ended up finding others by using the map on pg. 3 of this week's curriculum, and the one in the front of the LG history book. However, I just don't understand why they were not all centralized on the Map Aids to make it easier? Guess I've been spoiled by such a good curriculum, right? Not used to doing the legwork myself!! Hi Laura,

I noticed the same thing also and made a mental note of that. It would be nice to know if there are corrections on the way.

In the past, I've been able to rely on MapAids to check my student's work or to direct them to the right areas on other maps. This week, I had to find them myself as it seems you did too.

Hi ladies,
Possibly the problem is that, on MapAids, we provide labels for those sections of the assignment that say "label this...." If the assignment says "look at this..." or "find this...", this means to do so in an atlas, and not label it on the map itself.

This particular week, there are actually two parts to the assignment that will have to be found using Internet links: the flora and fauna, and Simon Bolivar's route. MapAids will be reflecting this, and Internet links will be posted asap. Smiler

Hope this helps! If there's something I'm missing, please don't hesitate to point it out.

Blessings,

like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.
I will proclaim the name of the Lord.
Oh, praise the greatness of our God!"
