My DD (UG) came to me this morning with Hakim's book in hand saying there was a mistake. On Page 146 it states that Roosevelt Sr. is the founder of the Children's Aid Society. She said "Mom, that is not who I learned it was last year" <grin - something is sticking!> So I have looked on the internet and one site does say almost verbatim what Hakim says, yet when you look up the history of the C. A. S - it clearly states that Brace established it. (That is from their website.) So we are a little confused on the two points of view. Help!!!
