Are there talking points on the WA Disk for Informative writing? I see it is in the WA Book but not on the disk. Should we just read pg. 68 & 70?

That's correct; informative writing does not have specific talking points for students because it is a broad, overview kind of genre, and it is frequently used in other, more specific genres (such as giving directions, interview reports, research papers, etc.). A very closely related genre is expository writing, so having your student look at the Talking Points for expository writing may be helpful, especially if your student is young.
