Year 2 Week 18 Level 8 second bullet item: Regarding "Some handbooks may contain a list of key terms often used in essay tests to indicate the kind of answer required." ... make flash cards ...

We have read through the Writing Aids materials that refer to Taking Essay Tests (teacher notes, talking points, sample essay answers, etc.) and we don't see what "key terms" would be put on flashcards to review. I also went to the Writing Aids pages about writing compare and contrast/persuasive/expository essays but didn't see terms to memorize.

Could you give an example of a "key term" and what you would write on the other side of the flash card?

I think the point of the exercise is to be able to read the test-giver's question and understand what approach to take to answer it accurately, but I just can't seem to "click" about the key terms flash cards.
