Hello ladies,

We are starting Year 4 soon and and my R level son is taking 10 hours at college this coming semeter and the following spring. In light of the big load at college I still desire for him to continue some TOG History,Goverment, and Church History with him.


If anyone has any ideas or suggetions on how to stream line his work load so that he gets the most important infomation for this year, I would really appreciate your help and imput.


I haven't been able to find at this time a used copy of BJU United States History 3rd edition yet. But, I do have the Abeka United states History Book, is there any reason why I shouldn't used this text instead?

Yes, feel free to use the ABeka book instead of BJU. (We're using ABeka in Redesigned instead of BJU.)

I think streamlining through a textbook and continuing discussion times may be a good option. I've always found that doing the dual enrollment at college affected their other homeschool work and so I tried to make it lighter.

Thank you for replying to my post. I do believe that we will just use the Abeka text as you suggested, with teacher notes maybe just so we can get the infomation for this last year.
