Thanks in advance for you help. My questions are about vocabulary and writing? FYI, I bought the Year 1 Unit 1 DE verision. After looking at week 1 -4, I noticed the vocab words are listed under LG and UG secitions. Am I to used these words with my LG & UG students? I noticed in the same section my D & R students would be doing timelines, right? I had planned on doing one timeline with everyone. We have the Wonders of Old timeline book. How do you do the vocab with the younger students. I was thinking of using index cards and do you do all of them or choose some.

Next question: As I looked over the writing section, I see I am to describe the writing steps. What are the steps? I just order the Writing Aids, will that tell me? Am I missing that somewhere?

My mind is jumbled with TOG right now so I apologize if this makes little sense. Thanks for you help!

welcome to the fog, lol. Kidding. Do a search for vocabulary. After using for 4 years now, we still don't pay a whole lot of attention to the vocab words, yet my children still absorb many from their reading so I don't worry.

For writing, you'll have it easy there. Pages 162 - 163 of the Writing Aids book.
Good luck to you. Take it slowly those first few weeks. Especially on your kids. I made many mistakes assuming work wasn't done before really teaching them how to do a whole new style of learning.
