I'm getting everything ready to begin Y1 next month. I have printouts of all SAPs for 4 kids in their notebooks. I have all 4 units of Y1 in 3-hole punched page-size page protectors. What I wondered is if you all could add the "General Information for all Grades" SAP that is at the beginning of each week to the LOOM? Pretty please? We could then just print it out rather than getting them back out of page protectors to make copies of... Big Grin which I will if I must.

Thanks for considering.... I know you all are not lying around waiting for something else to do.

I second that. Actually, I ran off the general information for all grades AS I put them into the page protectors, so I didn't have to take them back out. But I also thought this was good information my children needed to have in their notebooks, so I put it in there. Having it in the Loom would be great.

Hi,

SAP = Student Activity Pages
TNs = Teacher's Notes
RAC = Reading Assignment Chart

Hi Monica,
Unfortunately we don't put the General Info page from each week on the Loom. Sorry for the inconvenience that causes those of you who do make it available to each child.

For what it's worth...on the last school day of one week, I used to read the Intro aloud to all of my kids at the same time so they knew what to expect in the upcoming week.

Blessings,

This is what I do, too. I like it because everybody hears it together. Otherwise we are split apart for the most part (although I do have an older student who creeps in on occasion to hear the younger sibling's book).

It would be nice if the loom had the Reading sheets available, as I always have to take them out and zerox them for my kids books and then put them back in my book.

It would be nice, but we have been advised to not make those RAC's (the heart of the curriculum) available in digital format. Too great a chance of piracy, unfortunately. Since there are only 36 of them, we ask that you photocopy them instead of printing them.
