Just thought I'd get myself started here, I'm also, as one mom put it, "an old dog trying a new trick". I have 8 children, and have been homeschooling for 16 years. Our oldest, almost 24 is on his own, almost 21 year old son will be a junior in college, still living at home, almost 18 year old daughter will be a senior this year, 15 year old daughter will be a sophomore, 13 year old daughter will be in 8th, 10 1/2 year old son is in 5th, 7 year old son is in 2nd, and 2 1/2 year old daughter is into everything!
I've never succeeded in a multi-level teaching program, though I've always desired it. With much prayer, I'll plug away at TOG. We are beginning with year 2, just because I liked that period of time better than year 1, and we all know, if Mom doesn't like it, nobody else will either!
I'm glad this forum exists, and find all the posts to be so helpful.
Would love to hear from anyone in the area doing TOG, I have two friends from church also doing Y2.
