Does Apologia Physical Science cover robots and rockets? My dd really wants to study these this year. If not, what science curriculum does (8th)?

There are not robotics or rocket science in Phys. Sci. Here is the list of subjects:

Atmosphere

Hydrosphere

Physics of Motion
Newtons law
Forces in creation
Waves and sounds
light
astrophysics

Sorry, I don't know what would have those in one book. Check Tobin's Lab.
