I am getting ready to start Year 1, and have a question about the evaluations, which I am hoping Marcia, Dana, or someone on the Tapestry team can answer. Are the "assessments" meant to be "closed book" types of quizzes, or were they intended for the student to be able to do as they are reading? I would give the items labeled "quiz" and "exam" as "closed book" tests, but I'm not sure how the assessments were intended to be used. Thank you.

Hi Tracy,
In rhetoric level, I'd encourage you to at least transition toward closed-book evaluations so that the student can learn to study for these types of things in preparation for college.

Other levels I'd say are your call. Truly. Smiler

"Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.
I will proclaim the name of the Lord.
Oh, praise the greatness of our God!"
