Does anyone use BOTH Daily Grams AND Easy Grammar with their kiddos? If so how much do you expect them to do of each book weekly?

I use both. I use EG during the school yr. and DG during the summer to keep things fresh. I typically do the first pg. of a new concept w/ my dss. If they display capability, they do the rest on their own and I check it later. We usually do 2-3 pgs. of EG a day.

We use both, too. The first year we used EG, we just did one page per day. I found my kids forgot too much so now we do one page of EG and one page of DG per day.

Hi!
I do what Monica does. One of each a day. We stop to discuss if it is something new.

I introduce the new concept to my child, and do the practice sentences with her. Then she does the student page. The next day we do the next student page unless she really did well on the first one. We also to the Daily Grams at least 4 days of the week. There is SO much review in the Daily Grams that I feel like it helps her to retain what she is learning and it only takes a few minutes. I check her work the next day before going on to the next lesson, so i can cover anything that she is not getting.
Find what works for you and your child. The staff at Easy Grammar are VERY helpful. I called one day and was able to talk to the author of the book, not planned, just a God thing. It was VERY helpful as I was deciding if this was a fit for my child.
Blessings,
Bonnie

Thanks for everyone's input. I have assigned everyone a page in both each day. All except fo my DS15 in R level. He seems to have grammar under his belt and is taking Latin this year. He'll just stick with alternating DG and EG a page/day. I appreciate your time!
