When I printed out my first pass of the dialectic book list for U1, there was a book called "Crossing the Panther's Path" that is no longer on the list. But there is a new book called, "Once on This Island" that was not on my first book list. Both are RA, so I wondered if these were changed, or did I miss something on the first list? Thanks so much!

We waited for months for the publisher to ship Crossing the Panther's Path. Unfortunately, they had no approximate ship date, which likely means the book is going out of print. With that in mind, we changed our read-aloud to Once on This Island.

They are both set during the War of 1812. If you bought Crossing the Panther's Path elsewhere and want to go ahead and use it, just divide it evenly over the last four weeks of unit 1.
