Good morning.

I'm going through the selections for reading to make sure I have everything and to see what I need to have on hand in case my kids want more information. I came across some page numbers that didn't make sense and I was wondering if you could verify them for me:

Week 5, History: Core, Our Living Constitution.
Pages 18-26 are given. Page 18 is in the middle of a story that was not continued from the previous week. Question #1 on page 21 refers to information on page 15. Please verify.

Thanks!

Hi Lauralee,
The students were given a summer reading assignment from this book that begins on p. 15. If you'd like, you can remind them about what they read and see how many questions they can answer. Or, if you didn't assign summer reading, you can just skip the questions that don't pertain to this week's assignment. (Personally, I'd have them read just the text part and ignore the questions because they have plenty in the thinking and accountability questions.)

Yes, p. 18 is correct for the first page of the assignment. That is the first page on which the branches of government are discussed.

Blessings,

like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.
I will proclaim the name of the Lord.
Oh, praise the greatness of our God!"
