Last year I found a list of movies that corresponded with each week of TOG 2. But, I can't rememeber where I found that. Does anyone know if there is a list that corresponds with year 3?

TOG does have some movies listed in the alternate reading pages, usually (always?) under "Enrichment". This is extremely helpful to me because they have already been "pre-screened" by TOG and sorted by level. Perhaps someone at TOG can tell you if anything has changed in the move to DE.

I am sure that there are many more possible movies than what they list. (They certainly cannot have seen them all! Razzer ) So there is surely a more complete list out there. I have used Netflix to supplement our school but must preview many of those myself if they have not come recommended first.

I do have a list of movies by era that I got several years ago from another hs'ing mom. But it is not TOG-specific.

As an addendum to my reply - I came to the Forums today specifically to say how very much all of my children love Newsies! It was, of course, necessary to discuss the historical inaccuracies (it was a school movie, after all! Smiler) and the unbiblical choices some of the characters made, but none of that took away from our enjoyment.

They are hooked! It was a fun way to learn more about a very serious subject. Whoever came up with the idea of making a musical about child-labor strikes?!

Thanks for your response. I'll check those out, but this was a list with movies from Netflix that was broken down by each week and it was a wonderful resource! But, now I can't find where I originally got it and I was hoping for one for year 3.

On the slight chance you haven't yet - did you searched the forum?
