I am a mac user who knows nothing about computers. When I first rec'd my year 4 unit 1 DE, I was able to download and open my files in early June. I did this through Safari.

We had issues with Safari so we needed to switch to Firefox and now I am unable to access my files that I could previously view. This is the case for both Firefox and Safari, now. When I attempt to open them I receive the following message:

"The document "file" could not be opened. You need to register with the publisher before you can view any protected documents. To do this double-click on the license file that was sent to you."

I am unable to find my original license file (remember, I know nothing about how to use my computer), but I found an email from TOG that instructed me I could renew my license from my on-line account. I do this and receive the following message:

"Failed to check license. No more licenses."

We searched the Locklizard website and discovered that the possibility could be a corrupted file, so we followed the instructions to remove the keystore and reinstall the license file. No success...same error message.

I expect the solution is probably quite simple. Can someone who knows about this please assist us?

Everyone who makes a Tapestry DE purchase is given one license to use on one computer. If you make any changes to your computer (like a new hard drive or upgrading the operating system), LockLizard thinks it's a brand new computer and then blocks your access.

Email me your details at ray@tapestryofgrace.com and I'll get you taken care of!
