I was wondering if anyone has recommendations on an atlas for dc to use to complete Redesigned Y2 map assignments. This would be for a D and UG level. Is it best to get a historical atlas for Y2 or a general one?
Thanks!
Louise

I have found two Atlas' that dovetail well with Yr2. They are perfect for grammar level kids, but may be too simplistic to use with a D student. They are:

The Kingfisher Atlas of the Medieval World. ISBN 978-0-7534-5946-1 : Covers the medieval world from AD500-1450

The Kingfisher Atlas of Exploration & Empires. ISBN 978-0-7534-6033-7 : goes from 1450-1800

Hi Louise,

I own the Penguin Historical Atlas series, and as an adult who loves history, I find myself turning to these all the time for key events and maps. I think a D level student would enjoy the Penguin Historical Atlas of the Middle Ages.
