I have the old Map Aids disk for classic- bought by mistake- in the first week or so, I have already run into some differences between this disk and what the redesign discusses. Any one else dealing with this? Is it worth just buying the redesign?

I called to ask this question and was told that there are differences so depending on the ages of your children you may want to buy the redesign. I have all lower grammar and younger but am planning to buy all the redesigned map aids next year when my oldest gets to upper grammar stage. We do pretty simple maps at this point anyway. Mostly cookie and salt with a few paper ones thrown in on occasion to get familiar with the paper mapping skills.

Hi,
As we progressed through Year 2 Redesigned, we changed quite a few maps for all levels. I'd say "yes," it is worth it buying the Redesign no matter what level your children are in.

But, as the previous poster said, if you aren't doing all of the map assignments anyway, especially with lower grammar students, you could certainly wait until your next rotation.

Blessings,

like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.
I will proclaim the name of the Lord.
Oh, praise the greatness of our God!"
